I didn't go to Poland with school so I have some questions:
Was there a good atmosphere or did you feel bad?
Is there a different culture then here?
Did you feel sad when you have visited Auschwitz?
What kind of work did the people in the concentration camp had to do?
Would you visit another concentration camp?

The trip in Poland was very good. This week was full of surprises and emotions. I met and I talked with formidable person.
The visit of auschwitz was an important moment of the trip. The visit was long and sensitive. During the visit everybody was in silent. In the past I visited an other concentration camp. It was more impressive. I don't know why. Perhaps because I was younger.
"formidable" is a false friend!! (= redoutable in French)
the good word here is "great"!
ok! I will pay attention the next time..
Ther was a good atmosphere some cries but it was mayeby more because they weren't at home that because of the others.
The people are much pourer than here. But for the rest I didn't saw that there was a different.
A little bit sad, but I think it was impressive. I don't understand that people like you and me can kill children (much were fathers), women (they were husbands),...
Sometimes they work in manufactures but sometimes they had to bring stones from one place to the other for nothing, only to die from tired.
It was a good organisation and they were very different works but there was only the death at the end of each one.
I have already seen an other concentration camp. But I think if I will have children or a husband that never has seen one concentration camp I will go with them.
You have to visit one concentration camp in your live because you only understand all the attrocity of the nazism when your are there. When you have seen one camp in your life so you can't forget it and it doesn't will happen anymore.
